Hello Community, how was your winter?
SIAFL overcame the heavy rains, and the teams were even able to play a few warmup games.
As usual, we had some teams reshuffle, some players switched factions and joined the old enemies (or their new buddies?)
Let's see what we learned until now.
Teams: SZ City and RBW have been replaced with SZ United and SZ Gunners.
Players: some exciting new faces and many movements between teams.
Season: will start on Monday 28th April.
Let's Hear what our President, Mr. Antonov, expects from the new season.
Anton:
I'm excited that our Monday night games are back on the agenda!
With eight teams lined up for this season, I look forward to reconnecting with friends and enjoying the atmosphere that comes with our football games. My hope is for us to enjoy a season of matches that are not only injury-free but also filled with spectacular plays on the field.
Off the field, let's make a place where we can spiritually recharge. I am committed to engaging as many fans, partners, and sponsors as possible in our league, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship.
I believe that our players, as well as our SIAFL partners, should take pride in being part of our community and reaping its benefits.
Finally, I hope we grow and win together!
Unfortunately, we need to have a few words with the referee's manager" (David) too.
David:
As a referee and member of the SIAFL community, I'm very happy that one more season with eight very good teams is about to start. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of good assists and goals, and good saves from goalkeepers!
Ihope that everyone on and around the pitch will show respect to each other and that fair play will win in every match!
Good luck to all my colleagues, referees, and to all teams!
